I had a wonderful stay at Sunway Confinement Centre. It truly helped me recover well postpartum, both physically and emotionally. The staff were very supportive and attentive, always ready to help. I learned a lot from the classes, which gave me more confidence as a new mum. The food was delicious and nourishing, with five meals a day and good variety. The 24-hour nursery was a huge support whenever I needed rest, and the lactation therapy really helped with my breastfeeding journey. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Overall, a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend it to other mummies Special shout out to nurse Wahidah for helping this clueless ftm during my admission and gave me reassurance. I’d give this place a 10 if I could. One of the best experiences I’ve had. The room: spacious and well equipped with basic amenities, postpartum care and newborn care essentials ie sterilizer, bottle n milk warmer, sitz bath n daily herbal bath. Daily housekeeping. Food: 5 meals a day including tonic soup and 2 servings of birds nest throughout the stay with unlimited red dates and brown rice tea. I had few allergies and they were very thorough with the checks. Vegetarian option is available. They were accommodating in allowing non halal food. We just need to use our own cutleries. Nursery: 24/7 care. We can monitor our baby through an app. The nurses are helpful and open to sharing their tips and tricks and ready to teach anytime. Took care of my baby very well. Facilities: my hubs n daughter utilised the heated swimming pool. The only regret was we didn’t use the rest of the facilities: mini theatre, billiard room, gym, karaoke room. Location: strategically located within Sunway city making it convenient to move around by walking. Accessible to 3 malls: Sunway Geo, Sunway Square and Sunway Pyramid. Management team: helpful, friendly and prompt. Updates are timely via WA group chat. Any requests were answered almost immediately. Others: post natal massages were so comfortable and helped to alleviate soreness in the muscles and hunch from breastfeeding. A mini playroom is available at the same level so that entertained my daughter for abit. Wished there are more toys though. Different classes are also available to attend so time was well spent learning. All in all, the experience and comfort make the price worthwhile. Highly recommended. Had my 28 days confinement here and it was definitely one of my best choice ever. The best selling point is the convenience of location within SMC where i can easily go for clinic TCA postpartum. My child was admitted after delivery for phototherapy. Couldn't imagine if i were staying elsewhere where i need to travel daily to nurse baby. But here in sanctuary, i can easily go to hospital or clinic with no hassle. The second selling point is, i love their room. So comfortable, cozy, spacious and well equipped with all facilities and gadget for nursing. The whole room was well designed for a nursing mother. We enjoy our room so much. The 24 hour nursing care is excellent. The staff nurses are well trained in taking care of baby. They are always reachable if we have any questions in taking care of baby, especially for first-time parents. Baby are well taken care of in the nursery with routine feeding, bilirubin and weight checking, charting and updates. CCTV are available for us to check over baby. All formula milk, diapers, baby utensils are well equipped. This allows the postpartum mother to have good rest because we knew baby is in good hand. Food wise, there are 5 meals per day. Mainly cooked in a healthy way with less sugar and less salt. Can see that all food is tailored made for nursing mother with nutrition balance ensured. And they also have daily tonic soup, bottomless red dates/rice teas. I personally enjoy the food. Furthermore, there are plenty of daily activities provided for mother in the centre, including postpartum talk, baby care talk and de-stressing activities. All prepare the mother for new challenges upon exit confinement. I personally love and enjoy all the centre activities. Customer service was excellent in arranging and updating mother daily regarding all the activities. Out of confinement level, there is also infinity pool, gym room, sauna room, art and game room, where my husband enjoy the facilities a lot. And common lounge where we can cather our visitors. If i were need to point out one cons, it will be the room soundproofing. Occasionally can hear baby cry from next door. If the soundproof can be improved, it will allows the postpartum mother to rest better. In general, is a 10/10 confinement centre. No regret, and highly recommended! We had a great experience at the Sunway Postnatal confinement Centre. Being first time parents, things can get quite overwhelming and the nurses and staff here made sure it was palatable and gave step by steps guide on it. Nurses were patient with our queries (special shout out to Jocelyn on that), front desk were helpful and polite. While there were some areas to look at improving (ie better sound proofing) but the over all experience was fantastic. Overall a place to go to and to come back to in the future 🙂

We initially only signed up for the 28-day package. However, after staying here for about a week, we were so happy that we decided to extend our stay by another two weeks. I think that speaks for itself! Here are the main reasons why we chose Sunway Sanctuary Confinement Centre and why we decided to stay longer: ​1) Location is second to none. The centre is connected to Sunway Medical Centre, making it incredibly easy to attend follow-up appointments for both mommy and baby. In case of any emergency (touch wood), the Children’s Emergency Department is just a few minutes away. ​2) Friendly and efficient staff. Everyone we encountered, from sales, customer service, nursery, food and beverage, and housekeeping, was friendly and always responded to our queries or requests promptly. ​3) Genuine love and care. We could see that our baby was very well taken care of by the nursery team. This allowed the mommy (and the daddy) to get enough rest before heading back home. The nurses also consistently shared helpful knowledge and tips on baby care with us. ​ Overall, we will definitely return if our baby decides to have a younger brother or sister in the future!
